The
kennel limits the number of dogs groomed per day to insure that your
family member gets the individual care he or she deserves. All pets are
hand blow dried, NOT CRATE DRIED, for your pet's comfort.
We are able to bathe and groom all breeds and specialize in hand
scissoring. For pets who are elderly we give them breaks during their
grooming. We also advise the owner of any ailments that we might notice,
such as teeth in need of cleaning, ear infections or other problems.
Grooming is done Monday thru Friday with drop off as early as 7:30 AM and
pick up as late as 6:00 PM.
Having been to several other groomers, we were thrilled to find Driftwood Kennels.
Our standard poodle, Rustler, appreciates the staff's willingness to be patient with
him and work at his speed, and he always comes home with an excellent
trim.
Both our dog and our cat have boarded at Driftwood, and we like the fact that the
owner is on-site in case of an emergency. Both animals are obviously well-treated
and return happily to the kennel whenever necessary.

I have wanted to write you both and thank you for always being there for
my menagerie of dogs.
Four years ago my family decided to move from "town" and experience
country living. In many ways the adventure would make quite a script for a
Chevy Chase movie.
Shortly after we moved in, our poodle "Ellie," and our Schnauzer "Ottis,"
came in covered with burrs. (I mean solid burrs.) I called my Westlake
groomers and they informed me that they would have to be shaved and could
not get to them for three days. I then opened my local directory and called
Driftwood Kennels. You said "since they really needed the attention, I'll
make room for them anyway." I picked them up fully expecting two hairless
dogs. To my surprise they looked incredible!
I have used you ever since. My father even brings his beloved dog, all the
way from Lakeway. Your boarding is equally superb. The place is always
clean and shady under the oaks and very well attended.
Thank you both for being there when my dogs need you.
